Organically Grown Productions is joining Caramelo Productions in producing The Virgin of East L.A., a faith-themed heist drama, to be directed by Victoria Giordana.
The film centers around a twenty-year old Mexican American girl who joins her new boyfriend in a plan to rob her boss, a successful actor, in order to pay the bills incurred by her dying mother’s medical treatment, and how her faith in the Virgin of Guadalupe protects her when everything goes wrong.
